A little about Lara...

Hi, my name is Lara! I was born on May 19th 1984 and have been drawing ever since I learned to hold a pencil.
I grew up in a little seaside town in England with my parents, in a big old house and we always had lots of pets. There was never a time when we didn't have animals so those were the subjects of a lot of my drawings. I have also made lots of animal characters and fantasy creatures for as long as I can remember.
I love trying different, creative things and I can draw, paint, sculpt, needle felt and animate.
Over the last few years I have tried my hand at sculpting in polymer clay, starting with simple little dragons and then making my own characters. I have lots of characters and it is a nice challenge to recreate them in 3D. Then I decided to do commissions and I made other people's characters which are also challenging and refreshing.
